Between 1995 and 1996, governments in the United States, Canada, China, Australia, Latin America and the European Union approved 35 traits and 9 biotech crops for commercial planting. Since then, biotechnology has boosted yields, strengthened weed control, reduced crop losses, extended shelf life and improved the nutrition of important foods people depend on.

Now, we’re celebrating 20 years of agricultural innovation by bringing together biotech’s most influential people at events held around the world. Join the conversation and follow @TableForTwenty.
